Digital Tools for Leadership and the Common Core

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Are you ready? The Common Core State Standards require students to utilize technology as a tool for learning. As leaders, we need to think, plan and act differently to support teachers as we make this transition to a digital environment. The advent of tablets, mobile phones, and digital resources has brought new tools for CCSS curriculum, instruction and assessment into the hands of administrators. How to use these tools to lead unfortunately doesn’t come included in the box. Spend some time learning to use these digital tools and devices, and see what they can do in the classroom with Common Core. Explore apps that benefit administrator productivity and strategies for using mobiles, tablets, and the web. This session will feature iPads but show applications to other platforms and devices. Come, learn, and share.
