Using Cell Phones in the Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Tired of telling students to turn off their cell phones? In this workshop, discuss ways to integrate cell phones that students are connected to 24/7. Learn to use texting as a learning tool and to deliver reminders for students and parents. Learn how to integrate polling activities in the classroom to engage all learners. Participants will discuss concerns and ways to manage appropriate cell phone use. This presentation will change your motto from "Students, turn those cell phones off!" to "Students, get your cell phones out and let's start learning!" Bring your cell phone to the workshop, charged, and ready to learn.
