Manhattan Unified School District iPad Program from Inception to Implementation

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Learn from leaders of Manhattan Beach Unified School District about their iPad pilot journey from inception to implementation in K-12 classrooms. Participants will hear about successes and challenges of bringing a district into the 21st century. Topics will include the idea phase, plan development, board approval, teacher application process, professional development, technology infrastructure, pilot evaluation, and next steps. One benefit of jumping forward with an iPad program is the opportunity to share knowledge with districts considering a similar initiative. The presenters hope that attendees will form collaborative partnerships with MBUSD and each other to facilitate sharing of best practices using tablet technology.
